Job Description:

To staff Väggabadet together with other personnel during scheduled working hours and to be responsible for the safety and comfort of bathers. You will work in a team but also independently, lead groups, and work with people of all ages. The tasks include all the different operational parts that occur at the swimming facility such as lifeguarding, swimming instruction, activities, supervision, cleaning, and cash/reception work. The positions include evening and weekend shifts.

Qualifications:

You have a high school education, we prefer that you are trained as a pool lifeguard, swimming instructor, baby swimming instructor, group training instructor, or have qualifications that the employer considers equivalent. You should have basic computer skills, master the Swedish language in speech and writing, and have the ability to adapt communication according to the person and situation. Swimming proficiency is a requirement and you must pass the gold buoy test within two weeks of starting employment.

Current CPR training and experience working with children and youth can be advantageous. You have the ability to prioritize the best interests of the operation and can easily adapt to changing circumstances. You take responsibility, are orderly, respect agreed times, and have a strong focus on safety. You are pedagogical, enthusiastic, and work well with others. Of course, you are accommodating, have a genuine service mindset, and a good attitude towards both visitors and colleagues. Great emphasis is placed on personal suitability.

Other:

We are looking for two full-time lifeguards. One of the positions is a permanent employment while the other is a fixed-term employment until 2026-05-24. Immediate start applies to both.
